Three years ago, Amir and I threw our first seafood boil party on the beach. It was so much fun that we did it again the following year. Well, guess what? The seafood boil potluck is back! This year, we are beyond excited to get together with so many friends here in Los Angeles. What’s even more exciting is the fact that this year’s boil will be bigger and better than ever before. We’ve teamed up with Kitchen Play and several sponsors, including Alaska Seafood, Calphalon, Discover Endive and California Olive Ranch.

This year’s location…the Jolly Oyster in Ventura!

Just enough for one person.
There will be Calphalon pots on the grills with spices, beer-seasoned water, sweet corn and red potatoes ready for fresh lobster, crab, shrimp, mussels and clams. We’re also serving three different recipes featuring Alaska Seafood, crostini and salad with California Endive and peach cobbler with California Olive Ranch extra virgin olive oil. Our friend Greg of Sippity Sup will bring samples of salmon sliders made with Alaska Seafood as well. Instead of driving south, we’re heading up to Ventura to set up the party at the Jolly Oyster, which proudly offers fresh and delicious Kumamoto and Pacific oysters and Manila clams for sale. This coming Saturday will be a full afternoon of seafood, seafood, seafood, and we cannot wait.

These oysters are the world’s jolliest.
You can follow the fun through our Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest pages. Do the same with the Kitchen Play Twitter and Facebook pages too. Be sure to follow our sponsors on Twitter as well for more: Sponsor information: @asmiakseafood, @DiscoverEndive, @Calphalon, @CA_EVOO.
