Here we are with Ms. Joy!
This past Sunday, we ventured Downtown to Joy the Baker’s Virtual Picnic. It was a sunny rooftop shindig. Here are a few pictures with a few words on the afternoon. Take a looksie!

Spicy coleslaw, chocolate cupcakes and Cheetos! Love Cheetos. Also love coleslaw and cupcakes.

She made fried chicken and little biscuits. Fun, right? Fun.

A plate full of everything. (We went hungry!)

Vanilla cupcakes with marshmallow and the best red velvet cupcakes in life. Fabulous frosting with a hint of cinnamon. Delicious! (And yes, those would be a second helping of Cheetos.)

There were bales of hay for sitting. Nice!

We got to meet Michael from South Bay Foodies!

The fans await. How cool to have so many fans. We were in line too.

Closing the afternoon overlooking the smoggily gorgeous Downtown skyline.
Who doesn’t love a picnic? The weather was perfect, the people were sweet, the food was delicious, and Joy was a joy! Supposedly, she plans to do it again. We hope to squeeze onto the guestlist for a repeat.
